Make it Rain Campaign

Ibotta literally wanted to literally rain money down on people for the largest campaign in company history.


A big part of this was OOH (Out of Home) signage at the Oculus World Trade Center with 20+ different sized screens.

How it was done

The Ask

Create video campaign assets for use across all brand touchpoints and advertising verticals.


The Problem

Short 2 week turnaround to produce 40+ deliverables at different screen ratios and lengths

The Solution

Creating 4 main assets that could be used over & over again.


Clouds, Small & Large dollar bills , & Coins Falling.


The Assets

Clouds

Six different cloud animations were created and mixed in to the final video

Dollar Bill

4 Dollar animations falling in the foreground were created from this one asset.

Money Falling Simulation

The dollar was then used in a simulation to mimic rain falling from the sky.

Coin

This one coin was then used to sell the idea of actual money falling from the sky.

Touchpoints within the Oculus World Trade Center & on Digital Platforms.

The final animation was utilized in 40 different variations throughout the campaign.
